The following is just an overview of some of the Katheer OS core applications and games, knowing that more features will be added depending on the community voting and decisions:
K Global ID:
· One ID for all Katheer services, wallets, applications and games, including the Voting platform. Inside the K Global ID dashboard, KAH holders can view and edit the Avatar based on the owned NFT, check the KAH balance, Check the energy and power level based on owned NFT, check summary notifications from other apps and games, check rewards, check games scores, see activities logs, personalise the Katheer OS theme, check K Cloud summary information, change login and security options, edit Katheer OS family options, system backup options, basic health monitor and information, screening time, working hours, break times, and more. All Katheer applications and games will be linked together using the K Global ID application.

K Mall
· K Mall is a destination on the Katheer OS where individuals and businesses can discover, buy and sell items locally using Katheer Token (KAH). Users can sell items, advertise their shop, display new or refurbished items, browse listings, search for items for sale in their area or find products available for delivery. Using K Global ID, users can quickly get set up to buy or sell from their K Global ID. This capacity makes it easy for people to quickly check what is available on the Marketplace, make easy purchases, and pay with KAH. K Mall will target users using the localisation option or the pre-defined country and city in their K Global ID account.
K Store
· From K Store, KAH holders can get free as well as NFTs-based applications, games, and books (including audiobooks). Moreover, developers can upload their applications, games and books and get KAH rewards. All third-party materials inside the K Store will be reviewed and monitored by the Katheer team to ensure a native, privacy-respecting, and secure experience. There will be a section in the K Store that presents Google Play Store, a section for Apple App Store and another section for Microsoft Store that allow the users to install and run android apps, apple apps and Microsoft apps inside Katheer OS. K Store will be linked to K Wallet, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Cloud
· K Cloud is a fast, decentralised, secure cloud storage service with end-to-end data encryption integrated into Katheer OS and linked to K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature. Each 1 $KAH user hold will give the user 1 GB of cloud storage and 1GB of bandwidth every month. The $KAH, user hold amount, will be reviewed by the beginning of every month to calculate the GB the user can have during the month based on the $KAH holding amount. Katheer OS users can use this service for file sharing, file storage, website development, online business, backup requirements, application development, multimedia storage, video streaming and much more. The K Cloud service and application will also be available online outside Katheer OS and for android and iOS devices.
K Planet
· Part of the Katheer Project mission is to build a decentralised social network platform integrated into Katheer OS and linked to K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature. Using K Planet, KAH holders can share and participate in posts, news, links, videos, audio, discussions, groups, and events and gain Katheer tokens rewards for being social. The K Planet service and application will also be available online outside Katheer OS and for android and iOS devices.
K Messenger
· K Messenger is a decentralised, secure instant private and group messaging application and platform integrated into Katheer OS and linked to K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature. K Messenger uses an open-source, peer-to-peer protocol and end-to-end encryption to protect private messages from third parties. By integrating the K Messenger with the K Wallet, KAH holders can send a transaction using the K Wallet and communicate regarding the transaction status using the K Messenger using the Katheer Global ID option. With K Messenger, Katheer OS users can send private, secure messages, GIFs, stickers, emojis, photos, videos, audio, and files of any type (doc, zip, mp3, etc.) and create groups and channels with unlimited audiences. Moreover, users can create meetings using this application, share screens, change or blur the background, and operate together mode to be in the same space virtually. This application can make and receive calls with advanced features like group calling, voicemail, and call transfers. K Messenger will be automatically linked to K Cloud to allow users to share files while doing other jobs in the app. Also, they can send decentralised expressive stickers, create their sticker packs, follow the K Wallet transactions, and trade NFTs. The K Messenger service and application will also be available online outside Katheer OS and for android and iOS devices.
K Browser
· K Browser is a free, open-source web browser available as the first default web browser inside the Katheer OS. K Browser will be built as a Chromium-based browser with Blink and V8 engines, providing a faster, more secure, and Linux-friendly web browsing experience. K Browser will be linked to K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Search
· Some people think that the quality of Google's search results has dropped due to the Sites' SEO optimisations, adverts, a shift to non-indexed chat-based forums, and the chaotic growth of the web. However, the biggest concern is the uncontrolled spread of ads, trackers and analysis tools that slow down searches and may violate privacy. K Search is a privacy-aware search engine that can be used instead of Google Search as a stand-alone application or integrated inside the K Browser. K Search provides the same search results as Google but without ads, IP trackers, Javascript Injections, blobs, cookies, etc.
K Files
· K Files is the default file manager of the Katheer OS. It provides a simple and integrated way of managing the files and browsing the file system. K Files supports all the essential functions of a file manager and more. It can search and manage files and folders locally and on a network, read and write data to and from removable media, run scripts, and launch apps. It has three views: Icon Grid, Icon List, and Tree List. Its functions can be extended with advanced plugins from K Store. Some options include detailed file and folder information, tags tab, style changing, advanced file searching integrated with AI technology, viewing options, compress and extract options (using ZIP, 7Z, RAR and TAR) and much more. The innovative path bar feature in the K Files makes it easy to browse with breadcrumbs, search, or path completion. Also, users can quickly navigate with the column view and enjoy browser-class tabs with intelligent features like tab history.
K Notepad
· K Notepad is a lightweight source code editor, IDE (Integrated Development Environment) and a plain layout note editor with a WYSIWYG ON/OFF option and multiple languages support. It will support over 50 programming, scripting and markup languages such as HTML, CSS, Python, C++, Ruby, SQL, C#, VB, Perl and many more. Using K Notepad, users can write and save any text messages or details related to the work. Also, K Notepad will allow users to work with multiple files in a single window. K Notepad will have many other coding features such as autosaving, project folders, Git integration, smart whitespace, EditorConfig support, Mini Map, Vala symbols, Markdown shortcuts and Vim Emulation.
K Papers
· K Papers is a word processing application that provides for input, editing, formatting, and output of text. With K Papers, users can elevate writing, create beautiful documents, and collaborate with others. It has advanced features which allow you to format and edit your files and documents in the best possible way and to make professional-quality documents, letters, reports, resumes, contracts, etc. It has features such as making professional-quality write-ups, editing and formatting the existing documents, creating graphical documents, font formats features, header and footer format, inserting images and shapes, inserting tables, inserting charts, inserting diagrams, page layout formats, Check spelling and grammar, capitalisation, punctuation, sharing documents with anyone and edit them together, adding comments and suggested changes in real-time, saving documents to K Cloud, check document for clarity and formality, create a bibliography, create citations and references, built-in templates, and much more. K Papers will be linked to K Cloud, K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Sheet
· K Sheet can organise data, create spreadsheets, use formulas to perform calculations, create forecasts to predict trends, create charts and graphs, present data in compelling ways, create tables, import data from other Katheer OS core apps, work on budgeting, perform data analysis, create pivot tables, create management dashboards, create reports, create machine learning models, visualise data, and more. K Sheet will be linked to K Cloud, K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Presentation
· K Presentation is a presentation application that displays information as a slide show. It has features such as animations, designs, adding images, importing videos, editing inserted images, editing imported videos, design ideas, slide transitions, inserting charts, inserting shapes, exporting results as video, adding audio, adding comments and much more. K Presentation will be linked to K Cloud, K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Gantt
· Stay organised and tackle anything from small projects to large businesses. K Gantt is a project management software used to create schedules, and project plans, manage resources and keep track of time. It has features such as Gantt charts, kanban boards, project calendars, a pre-built reporting system, programme tracking, creating project portfolios, timelines builder, a built-in timesheet system, resource management, a baseline monitoring system, project roadmap, network diagram view, WBS structure system, teamwork organisation system, and K Sheet integration for project management professionals. K Gantt will be linked to K Cloud, K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Board
· K Board is the perfect whiteboard experience for gathering inspiration and ideas all in one place. The infinite canvas expands as content is added to the board for unlimited flexibility when working with many files or collaborating with others. Users can seamlessly move around the board. This application offers a variety of brush styles and colour options to sketch ideas, add comments and draw diagrams using fingers or an external Pencil device. K Board helps users organise and visually lay out content on a flexible canvas, allowing them to see, share and collaborate all in one place without worrying about layouts or page sizes. Users can add a wide range of files and preview them inline without leaving the board. K Board will be linked to K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Notebook
· K Notebook arranges the notes into notebooks so users might have a contacts notebook and ideas, each containing individual notes and a long page. It is also possible to add code blocks, tables and URL links to the notes inside the K Notebook, and these notes can be standard notes or to-do lists. K Notebook allows users to categorise and classify their notes in a hierarchical format such as Personal > Ideas > Music > Lyrics. K Notebook will be linked to K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Locker
· This application offers the best security option for your data by securing sensitive data in encrypted lockers, which can be stored locally and synced in the cloud. This allows you to access your files from anywhere through the Katheer cloud server.
K Tabi
· Using K Tabi, users can create, view, and edit PDF (.pdf), PDB, EPUB (.epub), Kindle (.azw), FB2, CBR, CBT, CB7, CBZ, PRC, PS, EPS, XPS, DjVu and Mobipocket (.mobi) documents. It can import document and image formats and save them into any of these formats. It also can convert the document between any of these formats. It has various interactive features, such as highlights, bookmarks, search, annotations, edit metadata, managing themes, changing font parameters, automatic text scaling feature, background colour change option, online reading, organise books, virtual bookshelf, offline reading and more, that makes the reading experience genuinely engaging. K Tabi will be linked to K Wallet, K Store Book Section, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Read Design
· K Read Design is a professional-grade tool that enables users to create books, magazines, periodicals, posters and more. K Read Design works with blocks that can contain text or images. For multi-page publications, it's easy to make a long text flow from one page to another in auto mode by linking text blocks. The program takes rich text editing from the former, adds page design to the latter, and tops the whole thing with CMYK mode support, colour profiling and other pre-press features. Users can use K Read Design to create business cards, flyers or books, for example, and then turn them into PDFs, print them at home, or place an order at the local print bureau.
K Audio
· Using K Audio, KAH holders can organise and listen to their audio and music, browse by album, use lightning-fast search, share audio on external devices using Bluetooth and build playlists of their favourites. K Audio will include an audiobook player function so Katheer OS users can import audiobooks (externally or from K Store), listen to audiobooks in any format, share their reviews on books and sort audiobooks by author, reader and name. The audiobook function in K Audio can remember your playback position, have a sleep timer, and playback speed control for each book individually and offline. K Audio will be linked to K Wallet, K Store, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Photos
· Using K Photos, KAH holders can import, organise, enhance, crop and edit photos in various formats, automatically find all pictures, view recent local and online photos, view photos on TVs or laptops or other DLNA renderers on the local network, print photos, select favourites, image compressor, make slideshows, set an image as the desktop wallpaper, share with online services, upload to K Cloud, view single images or images in a collection, and more. K Photos will be linked to K Wallet, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature. It reads the camera tags to automatically rotate your images in the correct portrait or landscape orientation.
K Videos
· K Videos is an intelligent and simple video viewing application with a library, thumbnail previews on the seek bar, playlists, subtitle support, smart fullscreen, the ability to resume what was last playing, the ability to speed up or down playback, create screenshot galleries, and support for recording DVDs. K Videos will be linked to K Wallet, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Mail
· Using K Mail, KAH holders can manage multiple accounts quickly and effortlessly with conversation-based email, fast-as-you-type search, new email notifications, and more. K Mail will be linked to K Wallet, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Calendar
· KAH holders can easily view and create events, appointments and meetings using K Calendar and sync with online accounts and K Cloud. K Calendar will be linked to K Wallet, K Mail, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Contacts
· K Contacts keeps and organise users' contact information. Users can create, edit, delete and link information about their contacts. K Contacts aggregates the details from all your sources, providing a centralised place for managing your contacts. K Contacts will also integrate with online address books and automatically link contacts from different online sources. Moreover, K Contacts will be linked to K Wallet, K Mail, K Calendar, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Calculator
· K Calculator is an application that solves mathematical equations. Though it initially appears to be a simple calculator with only basic arithmetic operations, you can switch to Advanced, Financial, or Programming mode to find a surprising set of capabilities. The Advanced calculator supports many operations, including logarithms, factorials, trigonometric and hyperbolic functions, modulus division, complex numbers, random number generation, prime factorisation and unit conversions. The financial mode supports several computations, including periodic interest rate, present and future value, double declining and straight-line depreciation, and many others. Programming mode supports conversion between standard bases (binary, octal, decimal, and hexadecimal), boolean algebra, one's and two's complementation, character-to-character code conversion, and more.
K Clip
· Katheer OS users can create and edit professional-looking videos quickly and easily using essential tools, intuitive controls, and customisable content with K Clip. Users using this application can create engaging social media content, in-depth tutorials, and reaction videos with the screen and camera recorder, an essential tool for creators. The application will be powered with AI technology for a voice-over option with 220 lifelike voices and flexible pace settings. Features include adding premium transitions and filters with the timeline editor, importing multiple clips, cutting videos, trimming videos, crop videos, creating cinematic visual effects from the application library, adding filters to videos from the application library, colour correction, adding motion graphics from the application library, professional audio processing, using background effects, and exporting the video in various formats with an internal compression option to save the video in a high-quality and smaller size, and automatic share stories and videos in K Planet and other Katheer apps, Setting your brand fonts, colours, and logos, and then quickly applying them to any video.
K Designer
· Users can create high-quality concept art, print projects, logos, icons, UI designs, mock-ups and more using this application. Features include editing and retouching images, creating multi-layered compositions, and beautiful raster paintings, organising with layer groups, colour tagging, adding brush texture to illustrations for the most natural painting experience, combining multiple brushes, creating social media templates, website mock-ups, creating abstract objects, adding filters, colour correction, painting option, mix multiple mask layers, tons of photo effects from the K Designer library, AI photographic processing technology, integration with K Artist application, and automatic share photos in K Planet and other Katheer apps. K Designer can work with all major file types, including JPEG, PDF, SVG, PSD, PNG, TIFF, GIF and DWG/DXF.
K Clock
· K Clock is a simple and elegant clock application. It includes world clocks, alarms, a stopwatch and a timer. K Clock can show the time in different cities around the world, can set alarms to wake you up, can set timers to cook your food correctly and also can measure elapsed time with an accurate stopwatch
K Camera
· Using K Camera, KAH holders can easily snap pictures or videos from a built-in or USB webcam, share with online services, QR Codes scanner, upload to K Cloud, and more. K Camera will be linked to K Wallet, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Scanner
· K Scanner will allow Katheer OS users to digitally copy their photos and documents using a straightforward way to scan text and images. Users can crop out the bad parts of an image, rotate it if it is the wrong way around, print their scans, export them to pdf, or save them in various image formats. This application will use the SANE framework to support most existing scanners. K Scanner will be linked to K Wallet, K Tabi, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Maps
· Katheer OS users can use this application to find places around the world by giving users quick access to maps worldwide. It allows the users to quickly find the place they are looking for by searching for a city or street or locating a place to meet a friend. K Maps uses the collaborative OpenStreetMap database, made by hundreds of thousands of people across the globe. Using K Maps, you can save your favourite locations, get accurate directions for walking or biking or driving or taking public transportation, get live traffic updates, get a 360-degree view of streets worldwide, share locations, add photos and review places. K Maps will be linked to K Wallet, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Weather
· K Weather can show weather conditions and forecasts based on the location and worldwide. It is a small application that allows users to monitor the current weather conditions for a specific city or anywhere in the world. It provides access to detailed forecasts, with hourly details for the current and next day, using various internet services. It has features such as Live weather forecasts, weather alerts, temperature, precipitation, rain probability, cloud coverage, wind, live radar, air quality index, snowfall, UV index, water vapour, rainfall, sustained winds, storm surges, views of storm tracking, weather on a map, in-depth weather news, accurate 10-day forecasts, hourly forecasts, satellite imagery looking at weather patterns from space and more. K Weather will be linked to K Wallet, K Cloud and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Authenticator
· It is a simple application for generating Two-Factor Authentication Codes. Features include time-based/counter-based/steam methods support, SHA-1/SHA-256/SHA-512 algorithms support, QR code scanner using a camera or from a screenshot, lock the application with a password, and Backup/Restore from/into known applications like FreeOTP+, Aegis (encrypted / plain-text), andOTP, Google Authenticator
K Blanket
· This application improves focus and increases your productivity by listening to different sounds. It also can help you to fall asleep in a noisy environment. Features include saving presets, adding custom sounds, auto start in the background, and MPRIS integration. Inside the app, there will be sounds for Birds, Boats, City, Coffee Shops, Fireplace, Pink Noise, Rain, Summer Night, Storms, Streams, Trains, Waves, White Noise, and Wind.
K Artist
· Using this application, users can draw using tools such as pencils, inks, charcoals, artistic brushes, the straight line, the curve tool, many shapes, several brushes, and various colours and options. K Artist can create expressive sketches, rich paintings, gorgeous illustrations and beautiful animations using fingers, a computer mouse or an external Pencil device. The application allows users to tweak an existing brush or create their own from scratch.
File Shredder
· Securely delete your files. File Shredder is a simple application used for securely deleting files that you do not want to be recovered. File Shredder has a comprehensive set of preferences and progress tracking for each file.
K Gaphor
· K Gaphor is a UML, SysML, RAAML, and C4 modelling application. It is designed to be easy to use while still being powerful. K Gaphor implements a fully-compliant UML 2 data model, much more than a picture drawing tool. You can use K Gaphor to visualise different aspects of a system and create complete, highly complex models. K Gaphor provides four modelling languages: UML, SysML, RAAML and C4, making them accessible to beginners.
K Waves
· K Waves is an internet radio player that provides access to an external station database and Katheer radio database with over 25,000 stations. Features include creating your library where you can add your favourite stations, easily search and discover new radio stations, automatic recognition of songs, with the possibility to save them individually, responsive application layout, compatibility for small and large screens, playing audio on supported network devices (e.g. Google Chromecasts)
Plots
· Plots make it easy to visualise mathematical formulae. In addition to basic arithmetic operations, it supports trigonometric, hyperbolic, exponential and logarithmic functions and arbitrary sums and products. It can display polar equations and both implicit and explicit Cartesian equations.
K Screen Record
· This application is a simple screen recorder with a minimalist interface. You can click the record button without having to configure many settings. It can simultaneously record microphone, desktop audio, or both and select a monitor, a window, or a portion of the screen to record, including multiple sources selection. It supports WebM, MP4, GIF, and Matroska formats and has configurable saving location, pointer visibility, frame rate, and delay options.
K AIART
· K AIART can turn imagination into art using AI generation technology. K AIART text-to-image AI empowers anyone to create attractive paintings, illustrations, and images by describing what they want and watching Hotpot bring it to life. K AIART can also paint complicated orders such as poems, song lyrics, unique and creative word combinations, movie characters, star signs, monuments and more.
K Research
· K Research is a personal research assistant that collects notes from various sources, organises them, shares them, and even uses them as citations and bibliographies within the documents. K Research will have three primary components: a desktop client, an extension inside the K Papers application, a web connector, and a K Browser extension. This component enables the user to capture all or part of a web page and add it to the collection. K Research organises the reference materials into collections that allow splitting reference materials between work and family history, for example. K Research has templates to cover most reference materials, including books, magazines, sound recordings, TV broadcasts, electronic media, web pages, and files stored on the PC, all of which can be linked or stored within the application library for easy access to the original material. K Research can speed up data entry for certain types of the item by entering one of the following reference numbers: ISBN (for books), DOI (for digital content - see www.doi.org), PMID (medical) or arXiv ID (scholarly articles in the sciences.
Terminal
· A terminal is a text input and output environment. It is a program that acts as a wrapper and allows us to enter commands that the computer processes. In plain English again, it's the "window" where you enter the commands your computer will process. Terminal in the Katheer OS has switchable colour schemes to prevent eye strain, browser-class tabs with history and smart naming, task-completion notifications, natural copy and paste, backlog search, paste protection, and more.
K Guard
· K Guard Endpoint Security provides next-generation, multi-layered protection against all types of cyberthreats on the Katheer OS that detects known and advanced threats, even in memory or boot sectors. It delivers reliable protection with minimal impact on performance and offers complete protection in hybrid environments, ensuring all systems are managed and protected all the time. K Solitaire Games
· Discover your favourite Solitaire card games in one app; Klondike Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, FreeCell Solitaire, TriPeaks Solitaire and Pyramid Solitaire! Relax with the classics, enjoy keeping your mind sharp, or challenge yourself with features like Collections, Daily Challenges, Events and Rewards. The game rewards and achievements will be saved in the users' K Global ID and can be converted to Katheer Tokens (KAH). K Solitaire Games will be linked to K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Mahjong
· Mahjong, also known as Mahjong Solitaire or Shanghai Solitaire, is the world's most popular board puzzle game. Match open pairs of identical tiles and remove all tiles to complete a board. The game rewards and achievements will be saved in the users' K Global ID and can be converted to Katheer Tokens (KAH). K Mahjong will be linked to K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
K Sudoku
· Sudoku is a logic-based number puzzle game, and the goal is to place 1 to 9-digit numbers into each grid cell so that each number can only appear once in each row, each column and each mini-grid. The game rewards and achievements will be saved in the users' K Global ID and can be converted to Katheer Tokens (KAH). K Sudoku will be linked to K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
My Katheer Town
· Build your dream town! Harvest crops at the farms, process them at your facilities and sell goods to develop your town. Trade with exotic countries, open restaurants, cinemas, and other community buildings to give life in your village a unique flavour. Explore the mine to get resources and find ancient artifacts. Run your zoo and collect animals from around the world. The game rewards and achievements will be saved in the users' K Global ID and can be converted to Katheer Tokens (KAH). There is an option inside this game to trade assets or NFTs using KAH. My Katheer Town will be linked to K Wallet and other Katheer core applications using the K Global ID feature.
