Introduction About Katheer Project
Katheer project's primary mission is to build a free secure, scalable, Blockchain-Agnostic decentralised community-driven Linux-based ultra-fast operating system (Katheer OS) and ecosystem that connects people and provides new opportunities to software developers, game developers, OS users, and influencers. The Katheer OS is powered by Binance BNB blockchain KAH, the operating system's utility token. The secondary mission of the Katheer project is to attract as many new cryptocurrency users as possible by providing a wide-scale and professional Linux-based operating system that can compete with the two main operating systems in the market.
Linux is the default environment for most software developers and is a popular choice for embedded solutions [37]. However, one of Linux's greatest strengths, and to some extent, its biggest challenge, is that it comes in so many favours and varieties, each well suited to a particular use case [37]. Since its introduction in 1991, it has grown into a broadly used OS, running on PCs, servers, mainframes, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices [38]. Most of the top supercomputers in the world run on Linux [38]. Linux's range of support is impressive [38]. Many run a variation of this popular operating system from the smallest devices to the largest mainframes and supercomputers [38]. The reasons for Linux's popularity depend on its usage; in some cases, it's the open-source aspect, and in others, it's the scale of device support and the spectrum of processors and platforms [38]. Linux scales from small resource-constrained computers to the largest supercomputer. Its source is portable, meaning it runs on various processor architectures (Intel®, Arm, IBM PowerPC, etc.) [38].
Our vision for this mission is to explain that cryptocurrencies have the potential to transform the world and should not be associated with scams, fraud, and money laundering. To achieve this vision, we aim to offer a perfectly integrated operating system where users' daily work will depend on it collaboratively without a central authority. We aim to disrupt the existing OS organisations such as Microsoft and Apple Inc by providing an operating system that solves all other operating system issues and combines all other operating system features with actual ownership by the users through their Katheer tokens and NFT assets powered by our utility token - KAH.
In the current information and communication technology market, the centralised ownership and control of user-generated content limit users, developers and creators' rights and ownership. Central control over the trading of virtual goods created by users restricts them from generating fair value for their creations. Proving creative ownership of works can be challenging, especially as content is copied, altered, and built upon. With the Katheer project, we aim to overcome these limitations while accelerating blockchain adoption to grow the blockchain information and communication technology market. We will do this by building an integrated open-source operating system where creators can develop, create, use, play, share, collect, and trade without central control, enjoying secure copyright ownership with the ability to earn cryptocurrency (KAH). This copyright ownership will be established and guaranteed through NFTs, where every item inside the OS will have a unique and immutable blockchain identifier.
